Rock and Blues Guitarist based in the Midlands UK. Been playing for 30 plus years ( late starter) gigging for 25 years with over 1000 performances.

Born in Manchester in 1964, moved to the Midlands in late 1960s. Had a love of music from an early age and got into rock, glam rock in the 1970s. Influences on likign music included Queen, ELP, Focus. What started me wanting to play Guitar were bands like Deep Purple, Free and Rainbow. Then came early Whitesnake. I hankered to get a guitar and learn how to play from about 14 or 15.  At the age of 16, i suffered a terrible blow, I had an accident which saw me losing the use of my right hand for about 18 months.  I had fallen on a bottle and severed two main tendons and the median nerve of that hand.  I had just started college at the time and had to learn how to write left handed. In 1983, with partial use of the hand, my father bought me my first electric guitar, a Les Paul copy on my 19th Birthday. It was a struggle learning how to hold plectrums and experimenting. Eventually i found a way of doing it, hence my slightly unothodox way of playing with right hand.

Started/co-formed up three bands Blackened, Eclipse and Jaded, I have completed and taken part in various sessions and depping for other bands and been a stand in member couple of others. The main ones being below
